We are a special visual effects studio focused on in-camera FX for narrative, commercial, and motion graphics projects. Our team designs, builds, and shoots practical solutions for all types of media, bringing a wealth of passion and expertise to each project.
We’re a full service production company working in studio and on location. We also fit within larger production teams and partner with other studios.
FX WRX exists to collaborate with filmmakers, designers, creatives, VFX supervisors, agencies, brands, networks, and production companies.

Graceann Dorse + Christopher Webb
Chris and Graceann founded FX WRX in a small production office in 2009. Since then, they’ve grown their business into a one-of-a-kind studio facility that produces outstanding work for iconic filmmakers and brands.
With foundations in theatrical effects, engineering and animation, Chris is a cinematographer, technical director, and VFX artist who adapts his role to each collaboration. He sees challenges as “opportunities to excel” and sincerely believes teamwork makes the dream work. When not building and shooting effects, he loves building and flying model airplanes. Chris is a proud member of VES.
Graceann came to producing with a background in dance, education, boat building, arts administration, baking, and... you get the idea. Having built FX WRX from the ground up, both figuratively and literally, there’s no red tape she can’t cut through. She’s an executive producer and business manager uniquely qualified to oversee the highly specialized work that we do. She’s also a SAG-AFTRA actor who’s been doing sourdough since before it was cool.
Together, they lead an expert team of artists and technicians who love what they do and make the work possible.

Hands-on craft is at the core of our process.
We’re inspired by the pioneers of film effects, who used their technical and creative skills to make movie magic in the pre-digital era. Today, FX WRX blends the creative power of in-camera techniques with the latest compositing and digital VFX tools. Our goal is to arrive at the sweet spot where creativity and technology result in joy and wonder.
We are proud of our contributions to many types of projects including commercials, network branding, and films directed by Wes Anderson, Ari Aster, and Steven Spielberg.
