VENGEANCE

The main titles and show packaging for HLN's series, Vengeance, feature in-camera FX created by cinematographer and technical director Christopher Webb. Creative directors Anna Minkkinen and Chris Harmon, of Loyal Kaspar, collaborated with Chris and the team at his studio FX WRX, where they developed a motion control system to precisely manipulate photographs, letters, and other artifacts. This helped to create the illusion of these objects drifting in slow motion. Pyrotechnics were tested in collaboration with J&M Special Effects and prop master Marco Cousins. The final work was shot with a probe lens system in slow motion to help bring a heightened sense of scale to the photographs as they were consumed by flames.
