Prismatic

Created by cinematographer, photographer, and VFX artist Christopher Webb and the team at FX WRX, this project explores in-camera optical effects and portraiture in both moving image and stills work. 

A live-action optical FX set was constructed around the talent. The camera was supported on a moving boom which arced perfectly around the center of the subject. Layers of custom made optical glass were manipulated on robotic movers while the lighting was controlled in real time. 

All of the above allowed Chris and his team to capture each magical moment as it happened in conjunction with the live-action talent.
