HULU: Sportsplosion
Director/animator Mac Premo teamed up with Christopher Webb at FX WRX studio to capture dynamic live-action shots for HULU's Sportsplosion ID package. Chris and his crew built a large turntable to rotate athletes as they were captured by the studio's motion control camera crane. Mac and the post production team at ODD then created animated sequences using various handcrafted techniques. FX WRX also fabricated hundreds of custom cut paper HULU logos for Mac to employ in his textural animation.
